Giant Gourami count?...mine loves veggies. So mean, has to live in solitude.

Not sure how the mbuna would do with them, but I put a bunch of nerite snails in one of my brown algae covered tanks, and they had it clean and spotless within about two days.

Lol, I get it now. I thought the OP was looking for a pleco or something that could hold its own with the mbuna.

When I had fish years ago, They were all predators. Fish eat fish. Algea eaters were sucker looking pacifist. Pleco, Siamese algea eaters.

The mbuna was my first algea eater, with an attitude.
