What is the most accurate test kit /method?

I saw a link on here the other day. Online it had the API liquid test kit for 23 bucks.
I wish I could remember where I saw that on here...

I got it. I question the results frequently.
{Edit} It is a fresh test kit and I use it properly.

you can get a pH calibrator solution to test the accuracy of your test, whatever the brand and type. they are usually sold to calibrate digital testers. that should give you a good idea of your test kit accuracy. also remember that some chemicals will affect your results, ammo lock for example screws up results of some ammonia tests.

Definately I don't use PH alteration chemicals or ammo lock amquel stuff. Just straight dechlorinator no fillers Ill look into that calibrator solution

I know the whole 0, then skips to 20 then 40 then a big forty jump to 80 then like 180 or soemthing. WTF is that, lol. There needs to be something that tells you exactly what it is.

But whatever, I don't test that much anyways unless I'm adding a new tank mate and want to see how much the nitrate goes up in a week.

yup.... i even cycle tanks with no test kit.... like i said waste of money.... i have no need or use for one... throw it away and stop worrying about params just do your weekly water changes
