stay away from the cheap digital ones like coral life. they aint worth a damn and are always off. might wanna look into the lab grade thermometers as discussed above

LOL me too...I just got another...stick it in boiling water and you'll see 100c
also 82F is 28C

Also I have one of those laser dot thermometers that you point at an object and it tells you the temperature. I got it for work I had not considered using it yet lol that's gotta be a good way of doing it.
