BTW, moke is short for mokelembembe.

Yep that's a royal tiger delhezi but not a high quality.

ugh...i always get annoyed with the ridiculous prices for mere hybrid/bizarre crosses/variations in fish, particularly bichirs. the regular species are amazing, and i'm sure there are naturally occurring hybrids out there...but the platinum shortbody royal tiger delhezi types for outlandish prices are a detraction from the hobby IMO.

great pics of the fish though, thanks for sharing--
--solomon

PS -- i would add that the most expensive "normal species" bichir would be the Polypterus bichir bichir right now...definitely the case in the US, with the ansorgii and teugelsi following--

Asian business people will always do anything to get money. Some Japanese will even play with the pastry dish and a microscope to develop something new.

These fish are not 100% Bichir bichir. They are hybrids......especially the one in the second pic.

Is this tiger del good enough to sell at US$100+?

I kinda agree with africanman that the Platinum Polypterus Bichir Bichir seem to look like platinum Lap Variant by counting the number of top fins(1 13 finlet and the other 12 finlets).

I maybe wrong as I dun have the money to own any 1 of those posted . :)

This is more like the higher quality Royal Delhezi that would cost you a lot of money.
