What is the most under rated fish?

Blue catfish, Ictalurus furcatus.

These guys are extremely active for a catfish, they have tons of personality and respond to your presence at the tank and they are utterly fearless once they get about 10" or so.

And I can't say enough about the GORGEOUS metallic cobalt blue color.

All in all, this is probably my favorite species of fish. Getting another is my top priority in the hobby right now.

Tell me about it. When I had over 4,000 of these available I wound up with only 1 that actually followed through on an order.

Common / Striped Snakehead / Channa Striata.

These guys are so aggressive and hardy, grows so fast with spikes for teeth.

Just because they are so widespread and common they are priced so cheap and seldom a choice of aquarists.

Common goldfish and convicts are so underrated because they are so seldom to grow out as a nice display fish. Neets too, they are hardy and easy to breed like convicts.

Common goldfish espicially when they get to adult size. They dont need a heater very nice color doesnt hide always active doesnt bother other fish pretty bullet proof.
