I had a mating pair for a few years. all the male did was sleep in his hole, eat, and make little JD every 3 weeks or so, other than that never saw him. once the female moved the eggs to be wigglers same story. she be out once free swimmers for awhile, then back to I do not want to see you till am ready to make more little JD. just nothing sociable about them,

JD will bolt. again they are not like an oscar that wants to come the glass and beg. even my jags will sorta beg. well more of a you going to feed me. or am I wasting me time looking at you, not the same JD.
