Pictures are not needed. I run eheims, and the ehfi's are types of media for eheims. Just don't wash the bio media in sink water, just use tank water for bio-media.
im a new beeeeeee i dont know what the bio media is would that be the black coarse sponge or my filter pads ect.?

can you show me a pic so as i can know what you are talking about? i own a mag 350,casscade 1500,and a tetra 150 so how would i clean them? :(
i dont think none of ur filters use bio media
the cascade just rinse or change the white filter with the carbon inside
and the tetra the black sponge holds ur bio just take that out once in awhile and clean that with tank water
and the mag u can put bio media in the black container that goes inside the canister

I rinse the foam and filter floss, in sink water, because it doesn't house much BB. The ehfi mech, and ehfisubstrat pro, gets rinsed in tank water.
Yup, pads/foams gets scrubbed under the faucet, floss gets replaced, and the rings get to soak in tank water while I'm doing everything else.
