If you have tried all those and didn't like them then you my friend need to invest in a Custom Built ZENNZZO wet/dry...gaurenteed to satisfy...
All you need is to stack up some K's and bring your smile...

Yeah this guy needs a good wet/dry, low flow maximun dwell time in the SCRUBBIES, and then a diffuser on the return so the flow is spread out and gentle. Easy on the plantings and enough future bio capacity for when the bio-load grows.

A fully planted tank looks great and is fine for some sugar-pants species...that has a tiny bio-load.

I have NEVER seen a Monster community that didn't tear up the plantings, so you wind up needing more filtration anyway...It takes alot of plants to be the main form of filtration....

Did anybody find out what size of tank and bio-load the OP actually has?

yeah, im thinking an 80g rubbermaid garbage can should do the trip for a 75g tank

Hell I was goin' for the full pull bro...
Sump the same size as the display tank,
Integrated 3600GPH Pump, UV Sterilizer and Blueline controlled Heaters all on a central switch panel,
and of course you get the Dual Jap Matted prefilter and 1,000 SCRUBBIE bio-chamber, with a Mid chamber for the Algea scrubber...

Oh wait, that's my system...that's alright...

If that don't make him happy... then there is the alternative...
