IMO, Carcharocles megalodon. The baddest of the shark world to ever swim the ocean. Rivaled only by a non-fish, the Brygmophyseter shigensis. B. shigensis is a toothed sperm whale, and probably the only predator to actually hunt C. megalodon, and vice versa.

Without doubt Megalodon, who knows there may be one alive somewhere in the ocean, it's a big place but I doubt it.

Older fossilize aka extinct species have been found, most noticeably the Coelacanth but they are very timid and live in extremely tight small communities.

A gigantic predator like megalodon would do extremely well to remain undetected.

yeah. This one takes the title. Anything that can inflict that much pain wins the title of most badassed fish despite the size. I think I would rather be bitten in half by a megalodon than have to face one of these buggers....
