oops, beat me, I would just keep the water pristine and go on with QT. can treat with preventives. whither salt, melfix or pimafix.

I know this is gonna be hard to give an answer since i dont exactly know what it is but besides doing the parasite gaurd ahould i be treating the tanks with anything else ? Kill any eggs ?
 
your poly is a scale less fish?
 
one tea spoon per 5g should be fine as preventative.
 
This dose can go allot higher, but as showing no issues. accept the removal, I do not see a need.
