What is this Fishy?

I bought 2 pairs recently, Cause I loved there character the first time i saw them. But I'm not sure what kind or family they belong too.. Has anybody got an idea?

Actually they reach sizes of 20 inches. Rare, but has happened in home aquariums...


Average size would probably be around 12-16" depending if its a male or female.


Also... They don't look like that when they get older, they turn faded black and the yellow turns grey. Not very pretty, but its extremely aggressive and has a nice personality.

all depends whether the color will fade or not. jeff rapps has a 12 inch show butti right now.

Them are some nice little buttikoferi. I think that buttikoferi look better as adults I need to get me another one.
