What is this Fishy?

Impressive display, but these are not very nice looking Buttis.

I have done this before, and ideally, all the fish will retain their vivid black/white markings, rather than get washed out. (That happens when water quality is poor) as seems to be the case here.
But either way, cool pics!

I had a breeding pair for years n they didnt lose any color their africans so higher ph is the best chance of breeding the male will be the larger n more aggressive out of the 2 once the fry r free swimming u must remove the female or the male will kill her thats how I lost my pair but beautiful specimens

Thats a giant gourami with them....

i had a butti.emphasis on the "had" part.it maimed my jackdempsey to the point that she almost died.shes missing a big portion of her gill plate and her tail is completely gone.luckily she survived, and now i have a giant cloud of babies from her and my male jd.i wouldnt recomend having 2 pairs of them,or having them in a community tank, unless you dont like your other fish.

Great News..I'm going to be a DAd...!!! my Butt. are laying eggs finally.. I caught them in the act this morning. In-fact the male came over the front and gave me the look.. as if to say.. Dont dare come any closer!.
