What is this Flowerhorn?

I just went to pets at home and came home with a Flowerhorn, cost me £8.99

I think its a Red Dragon ZZ, but its very pearly compared to the ones i have had in the past, thye alsxo had a completley blue flowerhorn in the tank that was very tatty which i thought might be a thai silk but he was in such a bad shape i didnt bother.

Heres mine....what is he and how is the quality?

Is Kamalu a good breed? as in valuable?

Breed doesn't determine value, quality of the fish does. Unless it blossoms later on its a low quality KML.

What do they look like as adults? i have googled it but the results vary

Well what KML was a few years back is not what they are today. Thai sellers took it upon themselves to call Silk heavy ZZ crosses Kamalau.

I would think yours to turn out similar to these

Wow thanks, so do you think it is 100% a Kamalu or is it just your opinion? hes not showing much red yet and his hump has shrunk since i put him in my tank.

I can't keep him forever sadly because my tank has my beloved breeding Severums i'm just planning on groiwing him up a little bit and selling him for about £20 to someone on Facebook.

Only other thing it could be a Pearly ZZ which is more or less the same thing as KML since KML is more or less ZZ. Its Kamalau.
