What is this goofy fish I just bought?

Even though "oblongum" probably is the most likely Austroloheros for your fish to be, I'd be cautious about jumping to the conclusion that it is "oblongum" rather then some other Austroloheros.......there are other Austroloheros species with blue speckles, both described and undescribed. And they are all similar looking fishes. Grow your fish out a little bit, then it maybe more obvious which species it is. Though I am sure it is not a convict

Not jumping to conclusions, just trying to get a better idea of the needs of the fish :)
