It's a Hoplosternum littorale. One of the bigger hoplos. It will get to 10" + but is very peaceful. Quite a hectic fish though

Sorry, but this fish is NOT a Callichthys. It's a Hoplosternum, and looks like a female H. littorale but can be a smaller hoplo. The Callichthys has a larger head, smaller eyes, and a round tail. And they're "straight", don't have the "fattening" at mid-body like hoplos. That's a REAL Callichthys callichthys:Burbotman said:That my friend is Callichthys callichthys, aka the armoured catfish.
Max size is around 8 inches. I have had mine for 5 years now and it is exactly 8 inches.
