I'd try Green Texas...regular ones if you can't find short body...any shorter bonsai type FH...really thats a matter of personal taste.

You could pair it up to a longer body FH, I dont think it would matter.

It sort of depends on what sex it is too, if it's a male you could pair it with a female blood parrot. If it's female pair it to a fertile FH male of your choice or Green Texas or midas or synspila aka red head chiclid. I personally would go with a fish similar in size and body shape as it's mate. Thing's may go a bit more smoothly if you did.

Male? that chopped tail is messin with me trying to see its fin shape...all I can see is NO TAIL!!

Green texas because that would introduce a heck of a lot of pearling, google fantasy Flowerhorn and you'll see what you might get. Fry from your fader/green Texas bred to each other or the fader parent will produce some awesome FH. Just a feeling.

Most if not all of these (hybrid) fish come from oversea's...there's many a cool fish shipped here in this condition...well..the ones that didn't bite the biscuit from their stupid surgery. It's still a cool fish and should produce some kick a** fry.

Its possible but looks like the heart parrot cut.

My guess is no...it was probably done when that fish was a fry to give it a "heart" shape. A fad in the countries where many hybrids are raised.

What sex do you think it is monstermanj? Whichever sex...I highly reccomend you check out the flowerhorn section on aquaBid in great detail. Check a seller called ceeyeemi...had some nice males on sale...was a few seller's in the US with males and females.

I think its a male...he/she was fightin real nasty with a dempsy when it was in the lfs....
