What is this in my pirahna tank?

Don't take out too much, as long as your ammonia doesn't spike you'll be fine... it's just unsightly for the moment.

It takes a little bit for the bacteria to die off. once there's a die off, there's a bloom to clean up. The bloom clouds your water, and it takes a usually 2-3 days for the water to become clear again. Isn't biology fun?! lol

Biology was never my specialty until the fish tanks. Lol. I'm learning a lot on this site which I love because you always have someone who has had personal experience with something that they can help. It's awsome!

Such is the beauty of the internet! Forums like this are both good an bad. You can meet people with similar interests, but frequently people complain about something online instead of taking action to fix the issue. That's the downside. lol But, I can meet people who love piranhas as much as I do!

They really are cool fish! And they eat better than me too!! Lol.

They are VERY cool fish, particularly if you can observe their shoaling behavior.

I saw all the ones at your place and they are awsome!! Wish you had babies when I was there but you were out of them and I live in philly so I can't always come up.
