red tailed giant gourami. they look cute as juveniles, the look awfully ugly as an adult, like a beaten up boxer.

You really need a 200 plus gallon tank to keep one IMO. They get pretty big, in all directions, legnth, width and girth.

RTGG ive seen them sell around for 100-200 juvenile and 300+ adult

RTGG's get HUGE and are around $50 in my area............

Their cheap when they are young.. i've came across some 4-5" going for sale for 7-10 bucks...

But they are monsters later on in life and are actually very aggressive fish... I would avoid these guys unless you have a 200+ gallon..

Also.. their considered food in South east asia.... but then almost all fish speices at one point or another were caught for food..
