What is this on my GoldWolf?

Here is my new pick up as of Sunday night:headbang2
I noticed the big hole in his jaw before I bought him (Im cool with that).
When I put him in my tank (with the bag), I noticed he had some funny looking holes on the top of his head and as I explored more, I seen a few more things...so I wanted to post pics and find some results from the pros.

pics 1,3 and 4 is for the hole by his jaw. Any answers on what that is??
pic 2 is for the holes on top. HITH anyone?? Yay, nay?
pic 5 and 6 is for his fin (hand fin... whatever you call it:D). Is this fin rot or a healing wound?? I was told that fin rot usually starts on the tail but I just wanted to ask:D

there is about 7holes on his head, 2 about the size you can see just the light didnt go my way.

So if his fin is infected, what do I need to cure it? Do you think he got that between Sunday Night and Yesterday Morn? Or is it something he probly came with??

I added Salt last night and was hoping that will do the trick for his fin. Now for his head, I was told there is some white powder I put in the holes and in time it will heal. I plan to do that as soon as the fin is better then off to a Hospital tank. But before I do that, I need to I.D the prob:D
 
As long as there arent any fish in with him that are sensitive to meds Id do a pima/melafix treatment per instructions given on the bottle along with some salt at a ratio of 1tblsp/5gallons of water. After the pima/mela treatment continue with the salt and LOTS of water changes until healed. Should clear up.

When you say clear up your talking about his fin right? Or is this the same med for HITH?
Any I have him with my Goliath... ganna throw him in a 50gl Q-tank (dont want to take any chances:D)

The pima/melafix will clear what ever it is (bacterial or fungal) is infecting the fin. The salt and pristine water can help with healing of the HITH.

I think he got it cause he was badly abused by a 2ft Aor/Jar (dont know what but it was HUGE) and had to be put in a 20gl till it healed up. Took about 4months, maybe a lil more. He was almost Dead
So im guessing thats where he got it or atleast got it worst.

I was told there is a med for HITH, do you know what it is?
I did a search on here and on google and I cant find it. :screwy::D

I did a search and got some info on the meds you reccom to me. Do I use both at once or use one of them?
