What is this on my ray?

Ok, here are some much better pics of the bumps. Do we have someone else that will second the lice theory? I can't see any legs like some suggest to look for to identify. There are none of these on the bottom of the rays disk. I never notice them moving, but I do think there are more than there were 5 months ago. Bring in the experts!

how hard is your water??
mine have them also, they've never moved location, but they have accumulated more over time. it is believed to be from hard water. my water source is very hard here.
 
My test step says brown, which with my strips means it is moderate.

Oh I was saying my water hardness reading is moderate. My Ph is 6.5.

yeah, test strips are a joke. every time you open the container, even normal air contains moisture which tampers the strips that you cap back in the bottle. not worth using.

liquid is by far a better choice of testing.

as far as the moles, not sure, not calcium deposits from hard water then.
 
So does that mean you guys are thinking it's not fish lice?
