That is a good deal for a fish that size, male or female. Know that unless your tank is empty, you will seldom ever see it. It belongs to the hypancistrus family, and they are, by nature, very reclusive. Good luck.

Don't put it with rays! The issue isn't the pleco "bothering" the rays, but that it will sometimes suck onto their discs just like any other surface. And that takes off their slime coat and can lead to injury or infection or death.
it is 100% L260 and not L411! read the "Identification" on L411 you will see the different! Are we sure it is an L260 Queen Arabesque?
The reason why I bring it up is that L411, Monte Dourado Pleco (www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=226) are very similar looking (the link mention how to distinguish; for those who are "purists," it's important to correctly ID the so not to cross breed them). One of the speakers at the last Catfish Convention (2010) mentioned that L411 are sometimes sold as L260. A difference is that L411 are much easier to breed than L260. As L411 are easier to breed, I would presume that these fish would be cheaper than L260.
I don't know hyphans very well, so I'll defer to someone who has kept these.
