Looks a lot like the anole eggs ive been finding more and more of lately. Wonder if the driftwood came from a warm area or if it was used in a lizard enclosure before

Birch have you had any issues with the wood you have found eggs in ?

I find those eggs all the time in my hatchery. They're house gecko eggs. Geckos are one of the few lizards that lay hard-shelled eggs similar to birds. I released a dozen inside my hatchery for insect control since I can't use pesticides around the tanks. Got the idea from a lfs I worked at years ago.
