I picked up this beautiful fish today....

now what is it?

its a oxydoras niger...... get to be about 2ft+...... some one on this site has a 45" one..... they get huge!!!!!!!!

is it eating well? fatten that thing up, it looks starved. Misspolly (sp?) has a huge one.

man, that's a pseudoras niger, and a starved one at that. feed it hight fat/protein to help it gain weight.

Ya that thing is very starved. Make sure you feed it well. Hopefully you can get if fat again.

Just got it today. The lfs says it was eating well but, I haven't had it long enough to make that assessment myself. Thanks, guys. I'll be sure to fatten him up. No worries.

I disregarded the idea of him being Ripsaw at first because of how thin he looked. I guess my instinct was correct!
