Anemia: The condition of having less than the normal number of red blood cells or less than the normal quantity of hemoglobin in the blood. The oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood is, therefore, decreased.

Just giving you a hard time :D

Its definately underweight, but its gonna be an impressive monster one day! Congrats on the pickup

Thanks for all the help guys! From what I've read around here Ripsaws will consume almost anything they think is edible, correct? I know a prepared pellet diet is probably ideal, but to vary it what other things could I throw in his diet? Especially things to get his weight back on track!

Okay, so this poor little guy isn't eating very well. Last night I chopped up some cooked prawns, few sinking pellets and an algae pellet. None were touched and he is acting more and more lethargic. I'm scared I'm going to lose him, any suggestions?

yeah were you able to save him?

I have never had a catfish that didnt love bloodworms, and they always ate bloodworms in my tanks before anything else.

I would do blood worms first, then earth worms as he gets bigger, slowly mix in raw shrimp and whatever other raw seafood and you should be good to go.

I would definitely start with blood worms if he's not eating anything else. They're tempting to all fish.

Bulk him up so he looks like this:

It's amazing what an LFS will say to sell a fish. Didn't they tell you it was eating well?

How about an update? How's the fish doing?
