groovitudude are you a MOD and is such an comment bannable?
You must admit the OP's OP is a little confusing, especially when you click on the photo and see microsoft paint.
I also appreciate they guy is asking for help, Sam2000 did you buy the fish with a black line in it's fin or has it gradually appeared?

Noob :banher:

I said blocked not banned!

If it's just a black line on the fin it's most likely just an odd coloration. How long has the arowana had this mark? Keep an eye on it and see it if changes colors at all, or gets larger or changes shape. It is only on the thin part of the thin and not on the body or scales at all, correct? If the line goes up the fin onto the scales it could be something else.

Since you can't supply a picture I'd suggest just monitoring him yourself, as there isn't much we can really do to help you; anything we say would just be a guess. If it looks like it's getting worse then let us know what it looks like then.

The best of luck to you.

Noob to what? Posting, reading, writing, misunderstanding illiterate OP’s by people who can’t use English properly, seeing a picture of a fish that has been doctored with Microsoft paint? Noob to Arowana, or fish? If it’s the first clause of this latter sentence is the basis of your “Noob” accusation is 100% correct. If it’s the second you’re just making wild guesses!
In addition I'm a he and if being a "Noob" and misunderstanding such a STUPID OP is bannable then please do ban HIM, i don't want to be here!!
However i think it's not, so i'll read you tomorrow!
I would suggest you’re a Noob to red herrings, I can spot them a mile off and apparently so can DOMPAR 74 and arOwana………………..still no pictures of the “real” fish yet is there?
Still DOMPAR 74’s post is in view so not banned, blocked or censored; you’re not a MOD then?
Good night and sleep tight.

so sam, what is the problem. Explain in your own words what we are to be looking at

everyone needs to calm down over a little joke. we dont all have to be super serious on mfk all the time. i hope this is the last post on this thread about my comment that was totally not meant to be serious.:chillpill:

to the question, if its a black line in the fin i would guess its just coloring. if its a split in the fin that goes all the way to the aro's flesh, theres a chance it might heal, or it might not. when i bought my aro at 8" it had a split in its fin to the fish's body, and at 20" now its still there. my aro is perfectly healthy but sometimes if fins have splits to the body, the body will heal at that point, causing the fin to be split forever.

without pics of your actuall aro,and not pics of someone else's aro with a line drawn on it we cannot tell what your problem is.

well the actual probelm was the black line in my arowana's fin which according to some of MFK members was not at all a probelm so if the black line would show some signs of desease i would inform you guys
