What is this??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think it's suppose to lie down so the opening is facing towards you

Well, my GF says she has seen it at one of the LFS we go to, so we are gonna head up there tmw, and talk to them about it.

I think that's a Rivertank system, not sure because it's been awhile since I've seen one. You fill it partway and it's supposed to have a land area in back. Not much land though, I wouldn't keep anything terrestrial in it, maybe newts or firebelly toads but not a reptile.

Edit: Googled and found this, this is a 55G but does yours look like a smaller version at all?

its a fake rock wall.you can put a pump on the top to as a water fall.the parts of the tank(glass) you can see on the bottom you put substrate with plants etc,and the little craters are to hold deeper pockets of water etc.good for a terrarium-small turtles or frogs etc.its actually really kool if you take your time setting it up and use your imagination in landscaping it etc.it is a little tacky with the colors but you can make it into an awesome set up imo.

exactly!

Believe it or not when I got my water monitor from Petco (I know, I know, he was half dead and they let me take him for $20) they were keeping him in one of those, might have been a 75G tank. Almost all water, no heat, no basking light...ugh.

LOL, hell no....I had to explain what she needed to keep a fish tank in general. She has never had a tank before, it was given to her.
