What is this?

need some help. This started growing on my tank wall about a week ago. It's a pale white in colour and I don't know how it got there.

I don't overfeed because I handfeed all the fish in that tank and I also do 2 x 25% wcs a week so it can't be leftover food etc.

Also tried to up the waterchanges but nothing made a difference.

Does anyone know what this is and how I can get rid of it? Sorry about bad pics but unless I turn off the tank light it won't show up on my cam.

guys i cant get better pictures!!! i dont have any live plants.. im scared to treat with anything strong in there because i have an L330...

I only have a camera phone.. and i have no idea what this might be... those were the only good pics i could actually take

What do you use for background?
Have you spilled water outside (at the back of the tank)?

i had something exactly like that inside my sump, in the walls where my bioballs were but i had a lot more. it was there for a really long time probably 4+ months before i cleaned it out. hasn't been back and all my fish have been ok.
