What do you use for background?
Have you spilled water outside (at the back of the tank)?

there's always water spilling out of the tank, my oscars jump around a lot when they're playing around. don't have anything for a background - the room is painted a light baby blue so this makes it look green when the light is on at the back. all i've done is let algae grow on the back of the tank because i like how it gives the tank a natural look, and my L330 loves it too so i've left only that side of it on there. the rest has been cleaned up but i have unsuccessfully managed to make the glass look crystal clean on the outside after waterchanges.

bump

bump. i still have this issue, i need to find a way to get rid of it quickly before i go to paris in 3 days time.

no one ever had this before? never treated for it? give me some suggestions, people.

I've seen it in customers filters before when they have really high nitrates or ammonia. Doesn't look like a hydra or any of those other parasitic organisms and I haven't noticed any diminishing health in fishes even after the water problem is solved. Worse case scenario, just have someone help you scrape it off and siphon it out and then do a WC (30%) and it should be gone. If that doesn't solve it, then I have no clue.

the only time ive seen any thing like this was in my terarium (spelling) all i can say to do is to scrape it off and do a water change. have you aded any new fish from a planted tank latly?
