My aunt sent me these pictures. They say these fish appear after big undersea earthquakes.

I looked up Oarfish

Oarfish are very, very long, pelagic fish. Meaning they live far out in the ocean. Oarfish are found in all temperate to tropical oceans. The oarfish is the longest fish in the world reaching lengths of up to 56 ft.

Seems those pictures have been around a long time. Wonder where my aunt pulled those from.....

Beautiful fish. If only we can see one in their natural environment and not when they are on the brink of death. A little too deep for us to venture to....

I think those pics have been around for a while now.

Maybe someone dug it up and mass emailed them out and your aunt got them.
