Looks like some type of sea cucumber.

if you can't find any info on it ship it to a scientist or something somewhere and get it tested lol
 
It's called a peanut worm. It's a harmless, nocturnal, benthic scavenger. Keeping it is fine if you want to.

They often react to bright light. Try shining a flashlight at it in a completely darkened room. It should "freak out" a bit. As much as a worm can freak out anyways.

No clue. From what I can tell, they are pretty uncommon. Most of the time they are found in aquariums because they exist in a very small life stage in live rock that is added to an aquarium and grow from there. Since most people cure their rock, they often die, but every now and again, one of them survives to occupy a home aquarium.

i wish I could, but I'm getting rid of the tank and I need to get rid of him. Honestly I've grown a little attached to the little guy. It's so cool watching him move around. I'm gonna find him a good home though.
