For Parrots, normally it is the male that is 99% sterile. Female Parrots lays egg normally and most of the time, people pair them with Green Texas to have a Red Texas. They also pair with Flowerhorn, Synspilum, Bifasciatus or the Amphilophus family. As for your fish, it is beautiful. Hope it maintains its color.Picked this guy up at the LFS today, she was so gorgeous couldn't resist. The owners told me it was a cross between a blood parrot and a Vieja Synspilum. But I thought blood parrots were already hybrids so they couldn't breed? Could you guys fill me in, let me know if this cross is possible and/or if it is another fish. Thanks guys!
