This is in my filter on my 75 African cichlid tank. Should I be worried? It's some kind of worm.

It looks like a parasitic worm that I removed from a tumor that one of my fish had a few years ago,was it alive when you found it?
I think it looks like a Millipede.....can u get better pics?
If it doesn't appear to be a parasite maybe it's a fly larva of some type? I get them in my filters occasionally, I just pick em out and feed em to my smaller fish.
Maybe chop it in half and see if they will eat it? Haha.

I just cleaned the filter and took it outside to drain the water out of the canister. I live in indiana and there is no way any worm was alive out side.... I did however set the filter pads on the cement and used my nozzle on my hose to blast the build up out of it.
The color is a little offf but it brought this to mind,the worm that I removed from the head tumor of my thinbar dat
