Here is my stupid congi who always try to jump out. It attempted last night when i was putting the koloton in the tank, it hit the eggcrate hard and lost a nostril, smh

Just keep ammonia down and it will heal up quickly

Should grow back without a problem. Seems to variation in length of time but will grow back.

Got it in early 2015. I'd say nostrils naturally disappeared before the end of 2016. Perhaps, from old age. I'm not sure for the reasoning, but certain it's not from injury or glass rubbing.

Here's a pic from March, 2015. Nostrils was present. It's currently the most active and intelligent poly I own. She allows me to touch and squeeze her anytime without her cringing or complaining, lol.
