Great job! The prazipro won’t work as it looks like round nematode. Would dose some levamisole if able to get it.
Coming from select aquatics

The patient is out of surgery and in recovery. Seems to have worn of the clove oil. Swimming normally. I removed the entire skin sack so there is now a round patch of missing skin. I will dose paraguard for the next week and see what happens.View attachment 1487786
Removed parasites.View attachment 1487785
That’s incredible. I know a fair share about fish infection and parasites but never seen this other than through google searches. You did good man, I would have assumed it was a cyst or some viral infection.

When I first saw the bubble on its side I thought it had tangled with one of the larger raph's while trying to share a hide. Once, I had it out in the light where I could see it better I could see the little worms inside. I was worried I was seeing intestines:cry:. If my spotted raph is any testament to how tough these cats can be this one should heal up just fine.

You did an amazing job. My spotted Raph has a tiny hole that looked similar to the one on your striped but has healed up pretty nicely and now just looks like another white spot on his pattern. I know this is off topic a bit but I wanna share this picture of the same spotted Raphael I took today. He’s just doin his own thing B4CDAEDC-BB15-41C1-8A74-2249456E4646.jpeg

My spotted decided to try taking over the hide that belonged to my BNP male a year ago. All healed and no scaring amazingly. Meth blue dips and kanaplex helped.PXL_20201220_013120327~2.jpgPXL_20201220_013141088~2.jpgPXL_20201220_013136311~2.jpg

Curious what the collective hive mind thinks about transmissibility of these internal parasites to the other fish in the system.
