This is the last of it, I promise. One last venting and then I will not post any more about this loser. The last time we went to a LFS, I saw some pleco's. I said hi little sucker fishies. Ok, call me a mom or whatever for talking to them in a "baby" talk way but I can't help it I am guilty of doing that esp when I see something cute. Then, whats his loser face, said to me that i sounded like an uneducated girl for saying that. Ok, I'll tell you whats uneducated...thinking that gold fish and koi can go into a 16 gallon, (one fish is already at at least 6 inches). And not to mention he has tropical fish in there too. That is whats uneducated and called not sufficient space for the fish. And not knowing that guppies require a bit of salt. And not knowing what brackish water is. And getting mad at me for buying books about fish. How dare I read about them!
And last but not least, the worst is the fact that he believes in the old myth of fish will only grow to their tank size. I was worried about my pleco's and what tank size to get them in the future, and he told me to simply put more decor in the 40 gallon in that way they won't grow anymore.
My 12 year old son knows way more about fish than that loser.
He was the only person I knew who had fish...none of my other friends have any. If i vent about this to them they won't understand bc they have no clue to what I'm talking about. I am no fish expert by any means, I am still learning and fairly new at this, but at least I try and I know how to READ. OK..I am done..lol.
