When it all comes down to it, that's not how the fish is meant to look. If that impresses you any more than a well kept genuinely coloured S. leucosticta then I pity your involvement in the hobby (that's not an attack on the OP).
I was told Sumo was nothing but a color and size enhancement. So, no didnt think that was gonna steroid my fish up at all and "make him look like he "wasnt" suppose to." But.. I see by your "experience" (post wise) and you can disrespect any man thats not of your stature in this forum. My thread count..or my title dont have much to do with how i feel, or what i know about Cichlids. thought ppl were here to help, not pity them for a question they knew nothing about...

Correct, OP is Original Poster. Probably harsh words to begin with, but I have a personal disdain for basically all non-natural morphs, species, and in this case, colouration due to diet.

Agreed. Too many hormonal, colored enhanced "fake" fish out there these days IMO as well. I just had the Sumo from owning an FH to be real w/ ya. I didnt even raise that S. in the pic in the 1st place. Heres a pretty good shot I got today of my two Jurupari (I believe) sizing each other up. Thought it was a pretty cool shot.
