like the bass its not realistic, no place for a tank that size for them, but is the dream fish. ponds around 500 thousand gallons. (guessing) , spring fed from a pipe running about 200 yards away from a catch basin. let out pipe other side of the pond going under the road and into Harris creak.

Actally being able to keep a PNG black bass is very possible, if you get a juvi around 5-10 inches, you could keep him in a 10x4 for atleast 5 years, maybe 10 depending on growth rates.
Biggest every caught was 46lbs, so around 120cm.
A 12x6 tank would hold one for life I would imagine.
Lutjanus argentimaculatus are kept frequently in Australia and can exceed 1 metre long.
People who say large tanks cost too much money obviously dont like their hobby enough, and dont look enough for the right deal.
I picked up a 10.7x3x2 for 450. Just gotta look. Nothing is impossible. Saying you cant keep a black bass is like saying keeping an Arapaima is completely impossible.
