What is your favorite 8-10 inch catfish?

hemibagrus punctatus cute little things when there small there just plain pissed all the time kinda cute to see them fight but then again when you see one get torn apart it reminds you how serious they are
the main south american bumblebee catfish is microglanis iheringi which only gets around 2'' some times 3'' and they are pretty shy and hide unless food is around they like to sip around and eat as much as they can then hide
the giant bumblebee catfish which i'm trying to find is pseudopimelodus bufonius which is from south america they get aaround 12''
the other is pseudopimelodus schultzi which gets around 8'' but is rarely seen in the aquarium trade

My black bullhead, but she's almost 11" now. I caught her about 6-7 months ago at 7". She really grows faster than I thought. She was gravid and I gut hooked her. I brought her home because I thought she might die being gut hooked. Kinda my expiriment to see if the whole leaving the hook in thing worked or not, and by the second week half the hook was spit up. Where it was lodge it was rusted through. Hurray for me she beautiful!!!
oh another note on the bullhead. This is by far the toughest most hardy catfish I have every seen. She eats more for her size than any catfish I've ever owned. She gets 2 whole shrimp every night. She's pure monster too. I had another channel cat in with her and within 24 hrs she had ripped all his fins out and he was about 1.5X her size. The channel died and the bullhead lives alone now!

She's in a 30 gal by herself for right now, but I am considering moving her to the 90 gal. Here's some pics of when I first caught her and some of now. I've caught many bullheads over the 15" mark personally in NC. Here in montana she's the largest I've caught. I didn't really expect her to live so it's quit a nice suprise to still have her around. She doesn't tolerate other fish very well. I'm hoping to catch a male next year so that I can try to breed them.

I had a pair of bullhead for years! You don't have to feed them to often just drop in a couple nightcrawlers once in a while and watch them go to work! Nice fish, thefishguy7 I don't think the bullhead is fat thats just how they look right after a nice meal.
