Ok guys and gals, this is only about CA's:) so which CA is you most favorite and why? My most favorite is the Red Istlanum. And that is because of their beautiful colors and overall personality. Granted most of them are not as owner responsive as a few other CA's like the Trimacs which ran a very close second for me. I dont have any recent pics of mine, but i do have videos of the wild pair i used to own. I currently have a few that im growing out and looking to get a pair.

SO what does everyone else think??? Which CA is your most favorite and why, if you have pics please post:popcorn:

hmm idk which is ca and which is sa but i loved my male jag he was a beast

My fave are the Texas and the Cuban although strictly speaking Texas even being native to some mexican rivers cannot be classified as a central american cichlid, Mexico aint central america, nor Cuba.

From a visual standpoint, any Parachromis is a shopstopper IMO. Most of my non fishkeeper friends find " Mo" our Freddy to be a beautiful fish.I have a certain affinity for all the parachromis species.

But, from a pure pet standpoint, my Midas is the water dog of the house. By far the most owner responsive and interactive of all of our fish. "Brock" our barred Midas is also the interior dexcoriator of the bunch. Piles, pits, rocks here, wood there. It's all him. I just supply the building supplies....
