How many cichlids have you taken the time to research about. Such a stereotype, cichlids aren't all aggresive, and I have no idea what you are on about dirty. Maybe you should try looking into some more peaceful cichlids if thats what you like. Geophagus, Discus, Angelfish, Uaru, trust me the list does go on!
