what is your favorite dog breed?

I have 3 Pembroke Welsh Corgis, so obviously they are my fav 
I also have a Great Dane and love the breed, but I don't think I will own one again...it's just too hard to lose them so young. I lost my first 2 at age 6 and my current baby is turning 7 and aging fast.

just read another pitbull attacks child had to be killed by police. gee people, all dogs need to be trained some more than others. roties, dobermans, g.sheperds, akitas - all can be vicious if not trained properly & with loving care & with very little roughhousing. pitbulls just happen to be one of the few breeds that can turn on you or others for that matter at a given's notice, so specialized training & loving is ever more so important.
I think to own a pitbull, one needs to ensure pitbulls receive certified formal dog training before they can take ownership. cuz a lot of owners don't take the time to do so or take it for granted their pitty doesn't need more specialized training (espec. when pups, oh they're so cute! but when they get older watch out!)
akitas are my fav, pittys & lap dogs my least fav.

and to the person posting above me ...dogs dont just 'turn' on there owners things happen to make a dog attack...no breed is predisposed to " turn on you or others at a given's notice"..
but i agree these dogs need training, people need to be be responsible with there pets, by training and properly socialising, there dogs of ANY breed
It is the Owners responsibility to make sure there pet is not a danger to society..NOT THE DOGS

I'm a pit bull lover although I don't have any currently.My next dog will be a Dogue Bordeaux when I have the time to care for one but the good old pit is still my favorite.
