What is your favorite eel?

I have two fire eel's one's over 24" now and their amazing and can be fun to watch because at least mine are very active plus I hand feed them - I do like the snowflake eels too but I'd have to say Fire eels for fresh water sp choice for me ;)

I love fire eels and tire tracks, but there are few things more awesome than a huge ( 26"+) M. Favus !
As soon as I see one(can be small-I have time ;) ) here it will be mine. But real favus are very rare, especially in my country.

My little Zigzag is an awesome little guy. Very friendly and loves to swim through my hand especially when I feed him. For coloration my fav would have to be M. elipsifer.

My TTs are finally settled in and comfortable enough to swim around quite a bit. The peacocks are the same as they always have been but now I think I'm more amused with the TTs. They're more elusive but I love watching them shoot out for food, etc. I bet they would be out more if they other eels weren't there. I think I might get another tank for them. I don't know. I've been thinking of picking up a couple more 125s or 150s. I still have an empty 360 just because moving it down here is such a huge undertaking.

I'll go with Gymnothorax moringa...very active moray and very entertaining to watch it eat. Active during the day compared to some other moray species. Personally, I wouldn't put any spiny eel anywhere close to favorite, very dull, boring, and don't see them out much IME.

I have a small 6 in shovelnose catfish , 8 in silver arro, 9in ck, 3 in endli, 11 in plecko, and a 6 in fire eel in a 85 gallon. Come at me.
