Hard to list just one. Right off my backyard boat/fishing dock are longnose, spotted, shortnose, and gator gars, bowfin, flathead cats, etc. And the river across the street has flatheads, blue cats, gar, sturgeon, paddlefish, etc.

Longear would have to get my bet for Texas. Only native Alaskan fish I have kept were 3 spine stickle backs. Really interesting fish.
