Yes and No, I work at a retail furniture store so they come in with intentions to spend money sometimes. The salespeople are the ones that talk them out of their money. I just give them appropriate financing. It's a pretty boring job overall but it pays well for the amount of work that I do. I enjoy paperwork. Plus, I'm an economics major so I enjoy seeing the regional numbers and how the business works. Its sort of numbing after learning micro theory but it can be interesting on busy days.
WAS a big fancy suit and tie distribution manager for the new york times home delivery. now went back to actually DELIVERING the papers to houses.
why you may ask??? atleast 50 of my 160+ employees were making MORE than i was, just tossing papers out their car window. one of them is actually making DOUBLE

The vacuum company? I'll never forget when my dad bought my mom a Kirby for their anniversary as a practical joke. She took it to heart and they didn't speak for a week.
