My 60 gallon tanks laugh at your small aquariums.

Does the 25k count as a tank? Wouldn’t it count as a pond?

Provide your definitions of tank and pond, please. Do you have them thought out?

I consider our 25K an aquarium-like pond. It has a 45'x3.5' window offering full visibility along the entire length of the enclosure, just like a fish tank would have. If I made it out of full acrylic, it'd not affect the visibility.

Pond by definition offers only top view, no side view.

Some ponds do have windows, this is where it gets grey, it seems to me. To me then it becomes the matter of the window size. If our 45-foot long enclosure had a 4' long window, I'd most obviously not consider it an aquarium-like.

Same goes for our duo of 4500 gal fiberglass. Full tank-like visibility, the entire length of the enclosure. Same for Dazza's stainless steel enclosure. Are they ponds too?

If you and/or others object, I'll be happy to delete my post. Really. Don't matter to me. This is not passive-aggressive. I am sincere.

I agree. To be a pond it should only have top access and minimal side viewing.
My dream tank would be huge and have both top and side viewing, it would be open top and likely low to the ground. It would be designed to look like a pond, but I would consider such a thing a tank.

A pond to me is anything outside at ground level, and as you said, no viewing windows other than looking down through the surface. And as the pond gets bigger the description would change to lodge, lake, reservoir etc etc.

I consider all your fish holding facilities to be tanks. But everyone has their own ideas, which is fine.

I guess my definition of a pond is the same as yours, I guess. You still would have the 4000 plus, because of that monster fiberglass! Can we have an updated video of the 25k? What is the rarest fish you have in it? Sturgeon? What is your favorite fish in there? Do you have a Tancho Kujaku?
