lol i was thinkin the same.

i dont like koks (as one might say)so im quite glad mine is low grade lol hes stunning as he is.

bloooooooooooood parrots..... Wouldnt even feed one to my fish they are so nasty... I HATE THEM!

I think it all started at petsmart. Oscars were the "cool fish" for customers. for years, every day, I would have to listen to some idiot go on about how awesome they are and how they are the meanest fish in the world. Idiots with a 10 gallon tank and four oscars coming in and bragging all the time. You go down to the lfs and their customer drop off tank is full of oscars. In my area, you cant even give them away. You almost have to pay someone to take them. I consider them the pit bull of the fish world. They're most often neglected, mistreated, malnourished, overrated, bought by idiots for the "image", and thought to be the meanest thing ever. Bought because their, " the cool fighting fish you can feed goldfish to". Every time I see an oscar I want to scrape my eyeballs out with a spoon...

I'm not bashing on pit bulls. I love all dogs. I'm just saying...

And you dislike oscars because people abuse them....? Are you saying that you would rather have a nasty ol' blood parrot, or even worse a jelly bean parrot, in your tank than an oscar? I am not tryin to start something but I just dont uderstand your reason for hatin on Oscars... Atleast they can close their mouths hahaha.... But to each his own, and you, like anyone else, is entitled to their own opinion.
