What is your prefered food diet?

Hey fello MFK's,

What is your choice and recommend foods for carnivorous fish? Do you guys feed any vegies/fruits? Insects? Live? What do you feed your feeder fish?

Just want to see people's thoughts and experiences

well i feed live feeder fish, blood worms, gost shrimp, frosen freeders to the ones that eat them, flake, insects, and thats it i think oh ya i feed once a day a amount that keeps them heathy

market prawns/shrimp, shrimp pellets, silver sides, clam, beefheart on occassion, marine a pellets as an everyday staple.

I used to feed insects, but they are such a hassle, since they can climb out of tank and such. live tropical fish, live freshwater shrimp, and carnivorous pellets are what I use

Quarantined feeder fishes, crickets, blood worms and peeled market prawns.

what does anyone think of raw meat? i've been using tilapia fillet raw shrimp and ocean perch from the super market. sometimes shrimp pellets and black worms.

what are the more unusual food items in your mixed diet, guppy?

Frogs, glass shrimp, sand shrimp, sw ghost shrimp, crayfish, gambusia, guppies, zebras, any local minnows, baby flounders, earthworms, pileworms, crickets, moths, tubifex, brine shrimp, fairy shrimp, sunnys, perch, ducklings, lizards, garter snakes, centipedes, and once a rat. Sort of depends on the fish, and what is around. As you can see, I am a fan of live food. I did feed a marbled goby and a couple of eels cat food for a while.
