What is your prefered food diet?

i try to stay away from live foods
there are alot of foods out there that are just as good
but when i did i feed them mollies ghost shrimp and guppys
 
Marbled goby got the ducklings, rbps got the snakes and the one rat (not my idea), both of them, bullheads, pike minnows, a large bluegill, a small lm bass, pike cichlids, pike characin, and various eels have eaten lizards, They were small blue bellied fence swifts. The ducklings were very small and free.

man my daughters would never forgive me if i fed a duckling to my fish..lol.

Mixed diet. Primary live food are crickets, and superworms, and nightcrawlers, occasional bait shop minnow as well. also use shredded carrots, hikari carnivorous sticks (the one the pic of the aro), market shrimp. i also used to feed pieces of chicken, but read somewhere that it was unhealthy?

Soory, no vid. I don't even own a vid camera but I guess I should get one. Wasn't all that impressive, the goby just rose to the surface and sucked it in, then settled back to the bottom and burped a few bubbles from it's gills. The mod thing is new and I'm probationary.

no duckling struggle at all huh?
 
ive fed feeder mice to a good sized redtail before. He gulped it .bit of cloudy water and that was it. What a sight.

As to struggle, not even a peep, just schlurp and gone. You need to remember that when this fish was around 10"s it ate an 8" LM bass. Took a day or so to get it completly swallowed but no problem. They aren't agressive but will make tankmates disappear.
 
LOL!! Quarantinin feeders is the key!! Gut loading them helps ooodles!!! Live foods are pimp! Love watchin their natural huntin techniques!! :D weirdest food i've ever fed my fish was Kix kids cereal...my oscars loved it for some reason...lol
