What is your schedule for cleaning canisters/filters?

Once a week 35% wc, clean the canister once every three months, hobs every second or third water change.

Hob every water change. Canisters once a month unless im lazy. 50 percent water change once a week.

I do 60-80% wc on both tanks once a week and I clean my HOB/canister/sump filters once a month.

Hmm. Never knew a pre filter existed. Does seem smart though for all the bigger pieces of ****. Got any reading on this?

Check out this. Instead of using max iii prefilter I used a rio pump prefilter.

Fx5 every other week. But if I am not busy sooner. Could go longer but it's easier on the pads to clean them more often.
