I wish I could tell you its natural but weekly water changes are a must with this huge bioload. My filtration is, by my standards, weak and in serious need of beefing up. Thinking of upgrading to a Mag 12.5 to start, but am worried even that won't be enough. Any suggestions?

That's what I was told when I bought him around this time last year. He's been with me the longest and easily my favorite fish in the tank. His color swings are out of this world too. Only thing that strikes me as odd is that he seems to have stopped growing around the 8" mark. He eats like a fiend but hasn't grown noticeably in months.
